Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn was born in the United States and is an actress who has worked professionally for 27 years. Since the age of 27, she has worked as a professionally active thespian. She started her professional career in 1990, in a non Broadway show called The Big Funk, by John Patrick Shanley. The Perfect Tribute was her first TV appearance within a year. In 1992, her acting career launched when she was cast for a part in the movie Basic Instinct. The Firm is where she made her debut as the female star in the film alongside Tom Cruise & Gene Hackman.
