Colson Baker (or Machine Gun Kelly) is well-known for his unique way of rappers. Baker was born into a English Scottish German family in Houston Texas U.S.A., on April 22nd, 1991. When he was a kid Baker spent a large deal of time traveling along with his parents who were missionaries. James Colson Baker was depressed and was unemployed when Sonia Alane, his mother, left his family when he was barely 9 years old. Baker's dad moved with him to Denver and they lived at the aunt of his father. Other kids in the area had a tendency to bully Baker because he was poor. When he was in sixth grade, he started listening to rap. Colson Kelly (also known as Machine Gun Kelly) was born April 22, 1990, in Texas. He has a reputation for blending hip-hop styles that are contemporary and alternative to rock music in his compositions. Baker has recorded four mixtapes during the period between 2007-2010, prior to signing with Bad Boy Records. In the wake of delivering his lyrics faster than a bullet train the Cleveland rapper saw a rapid rise to fame in 2011. The rapper went from releasing self-released tapes to signing with labels. His career took off and each album being ranked among the top 10.
