Alexa Ray-Joel is an American singer, songwriter and musician. Her parents are to musician Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley. Joel was raised in New York and has been inspired by her parents' fascination with fashion and music. At the age 19 she formed a group of musicians with her first performance took place at Maxwell's Hoboken New Jersey. The show became a huge success within a matter of a couple of years.
